The South Baldwin Literacy Council understands that each student learns differently. We work with each student and his or her parent(s) to provide an individualized tutoring program for academic, as well as, personal success.
YOUTH SERVICES

Summer Reading Camp
The South Baldwin Literacy Council hosts an Annual Summer Reading Camp to promote continued learning and to prevent "Summer Slide". Registration opens annually in the Spring.
We are now registering for Summer Reading Camp 2025: Adventures Beyond the Page! Join us for an exciting, adventure-filled camp which will ignite a love of reading among K-6 campers!

After-School Tutoring
The South Baldwin Literacy Council supports youth literacy by providing free, after-school tutoring services to K-6 students. Currently, tutoring services are offered in math and reading only. Students must be testing below grade equivalency to qualify. If you are interested in tutoring services at the Fairhope Youth Rotary Club, your child must be a member of their program to receive services.
Available at: The South Baldwin Literacy Council and The Fairhope Rotary Youth Club.

In-School Tutoring
The South Baldwin Literacy Council supplies volunteer tutors to various schools in Baldwin County. Students will receive tutoring based on recommendations made by the individual school's reading specialist.
Service is Available at: Florence B. Mathis Elementary School, Foley Elementary School, Swift Consilidated Elementary School, and Orange Beach Elementary School.
