In 2022 alone, we provided services to over 1,200 students. Our volunteers make an invaluable and intangible difference in our community. Volunteer opportunities are always available. From tutoring students to delivering books, we always have a place for you.

Win-Win-Win
My experience with SBLC has been nothing less than delightful. The staff is so kind and works with my schedule. But the best part is those kids. Their eyes light up when you walk in the classroom and they feel so special to know someone came to work just with them. The teachers are so grateful for the time I take to help the students. It’s a win-win-win situation for all. A win for the students. A win for the teachers. And a big huge win for the volunteer. The dividends are unbelievably unbalanced. For two hours of my time, I receive copious amounts of love and satisfaction knowing that I’m doing a small part in helping a child feel better about themselves as they learn and grow towards success!
