Tackling Anxiety Presentation

The South Baldwin Literacy Council's Adult Excellence Academy proudly presented "Tackling Anxiety" at the Foley Public Library. Mayo Clinic trained health and wellness coach, Terry Wakefield, shared her knowledge and expertise with community members. Attendees left with a toolbox full of tips and tricks to help them "tackle" their anxieties.

United Way Kickoff Luncheon

The South Baldwin Literacy Council enjoyed a fantastic lunch at United Way of Baldwin County's 2023 kickoff luncheon. We heard a fantastic message from Jason Campbell, retired professional football player from Auburn University. United Way is near and dear to our hearts as they deeply support our mission here at SBLC.

The South Baldwin Literacy Council attended Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church's "Get on Board" event this weekend. We had the opportunity to showcase how community members can get involved in our organization and to learn about the various other organizations that work so hard to give back in our community.

2023 Annual Trivia Night Fundraiser

The South Baldwin Literacy Council held its annual "Trivia Night Fundraiser". This year's theme was "Your Favorite Book from the 1980's". This fundraiser is always a hit - 8 rounds of trivia, a live auction, a silent auction, and more! All of the fun goes straight back into the community through literacy services provided by SBLC. The SBLC staff had a RAD night and tied the event together by reppin' true 1980's outfits.
