GED PROGRAMS
PRE-GED PROGRAM
The South Baldwin Literacy Council has developed a program to assist students who may need additional support in earning their GED. The Pre-GED Program is an in-person, self-paced, tutor-guided program that allows students to gain confidence and refresh their knowledge of basic literacy skills in order to move forward in their education and eventually earn their GED.
IN-PERSON PROGRAM
The South Baldwin Literacy Council’s In-Person GED Program is a self-paced, tutor-guided program designed to allow students to successfully complete their GED with personalized 1-on-1 help. In addition, students have the opportunity to come to weekly study groups where tutors are available to assist as needed. Our in-person GED tutoring services are completely FREE.
ONLINE PROGRAM
The South Baldwin Literacy Council’s Online GED Program is a self-paced program designed to allow students the flexibility to earn their GED from the comfort of their own home. This program is worksheet-based with weekly check-ins from a tutor and help available in weekly Zoom Meetings. Students will also have access to video content provided by the SBLC GED Team.
